I had a thought the other day, and I’d like to open this question to the world.
Here, in the UK, we go by Greenwich Mean Time, or GMT. I know parts of USA and Canada, areas that are 8 hours behind GMT, refer to their time zone as Pacific Standard Time, or PST.
My question? Do any other time zones have their own abbreviated time zone? These are the only two I’ve heard of, and I’d be interested to know if, say, France had a French Local Time or something similar.
Food for thought…
