Lent 6 – de-snotting

Exercise: light cleaning (30 mins)

Managed to finish tidying my flat after the flu-period, and I made good progress with thew newsletter. All in all today’s gone fairly well, although I’ve not been in the most cheerful of moods. I’ve got a lot on my mind at the moment which isn’t really suitable blogversation so I’m not going to delve into it. But I’m doing my best to tick along, and it seems to be working.

I keep meaning to read the book my partner bought me for Valentines Day. It’s called “Blog Inc. – Blogging for Passion, Profit, and to Create Community” by Joy Deangdeelert Cho. I’ve not read much into it so far, but I really like what I have managed to find time to absorb. I’m going to add it to my bedtime booklist.

I’ve enjoyed today’s menu – dry Shreddies for breakfast (I can’t have milk), Ryvita with Nutella for lunch and a chicken stir fry for dinner, with all portions carefully monitored and counted towards my daily score. I know most days are going to end up fairly similar, but I like my meals. It’d be rubbish if I didn’t enjoy what I was eating, after all.

I know today’s post isn’t massively exciting, but I guess I’m still too drained from being unwell to generate much enthusiasm, and I still have a mountain of dishes to do before bed. I’m hoping there’s more excitement to come later this week though, so hopefully I’ll be able to pass that on.
